Art Party

This Art Party was submitted by Katie Kourembis.  Katie makes amazing parties.  She's also my sister and the inspiration for a lot of my party ideas.  The party was held at a paint your own pottery studio.  All of the party printables are from Erica at Kutzy Party Boutique. 

This was one of my favorite details.  So cute...

She also made rainbow popcorn flavored with Kool-Aid.  The recipe is from Tasty Kitchen.

The star of the show was the 6 layer rainbow cake.  It was just as beautiful on the inside as it was on the outside.  The recipe for the cake was from www.bakerella.com and the icing was homemade buttercream.  I love the banner with her name across the top hanging from 2 paint brushes.

Make a wish.....

The centerpieces were made with paint cans.

 Here they are on the tables with lots of colorful balloons attached.

She made all the kids aprons to wear while they painted and to take home.

She made a really cute photo prop area to take lots of fun pictures of the guests.

Here's the birthday girl

In addition to the pottery the kids painted and the aprons she also handed out these amazing goodie bags.

Each one was filled with paint, brushes, a paint tray, a canvas and some coloring pages of famous art work.
